It was great to meet all of the parent's and guardian's that came to Meet the Teacher last night. Parent's/Guardian's that were unable to attend, I will be sending home J.C. Hill Handbooks tonight. Week two is over already, wow! A great week of work in class. C.T.B.S. Testing has been completed, with the results to follow in a few weeks.

3) Make sure all math is caught up to the end of page 13.
4) Watch the Buffalo Bills vs. Denver Broncos play on Sunday at 1:00pm!

WELCOME BACK!!

Hello everyone and welcome back for another year at J.C. Hill School. I hope that everyone has had a relaxing, safe, and enjoyable summer. It is now time to work towards the completely different world of high school.

I will be using the blog site almost every single day as another communication tool between myself and parents, as well as students. I encourage you to check the site nightly for updates. We have both the school site and the individual teacher sites. The site will feature HOMEWORK, ASSIGNMENTS, PICTURES, CURRENTS EVENTS, STUDENTS WORK, TRIPS, ETC....

Sorry it has been a while since my last blog! Computer problems, Olympia trip, Guelph Science Camp, and now report cards.

Student have been catching up on many things over the last few weeks.
We are finishing up:
1) Math Unit on Algebra - test Thursday
2) Spelling - Lesson 29
3) Writing Sense - Humour
4) High Interest Reading booklet (complete)
5) Novel Study "Lost in the Barrens" - must be read by Wednesday. Quiz to follow.

A reminder that there is a math retest tomorrow, on Probability, for those who need to bring up their marks.
