Wednesday, December 13th

Hello

Tonights homework is focussed on Multiplying Fractions, pages 151 - 155, #1-10. Students are brining home a Fraction Spinner to aid with question #6.

Also students should make sure their Language Power is up to date as I will be marking up to approximately lesson 40 over the holiday season!

We also worked on our Newspaper Ariticles in the computer lab for almost 2 hours. These will be due after our next computer period. If students need some more information, they should be gathering this at home so that it is ready to be put into their article.

Skate-a-thon tomorrow! Remember your skates (and helmet if you need one?).

I am still missing a few report cards sheets, which are now a week and a half late. Please send them in immediately.

Thanks
Mr. H

Spelling - All exercises for the Review are due Monday (homework this weekend)

Language Power- Lessons completed up to the end of Lesson 27 (homework this weekend)

Writing Sense posters are a week overdue now. After Monday the mark is 0!

If assignments are not completed and handed in on time, students will not be participating in the upcoming fun activities such as: Skating, Hockey Game, Movie Day, etc.. You will be spending your time catching up at school instead! Use your time in-class wisely, and complete your homework when you get home.

On the other hand I have some students with all of their work complete to date for term two. Keep up the excellent work habits! Attendance, punctuality, and work ethic are the keys to success!!!

Have a good weekend!
